MFTE Information
Symphony Apartments is a proud to offer affordable housing options
to Seattle's Columbia City Neighborhood via the Multifamily
Property Tax Exemption (MFTE) Program. The program affords
individuals with limited incomes the opportunity to choose from a
variety of luxury rent restricted apartment homes while remaining
in desired urban locations.
Eligible applicants will be determined based on household income limits set by the Seattle Office of Housing. For Symphony Apartments, household income must be below 60% of the Area Median Income for Studios, below 70% for 1 bedroom, and below 85% for 2 bedroom apartments. Click here to view current income limits and see if you & your household may be eligible today.
To find these homes Browse our interactive map (Coming Soon!) and look for units labeled MFTE under the Unit Amenity details for each unit.
It is advised MFTE applicants contact the leasing office prior to applying to confirm inventory and income limitations. Further, it is encouraged MFTE applicants plan ahead of their ideal move timeline as income verification can be a more extensive process when compared to market rate apartment applicants. Further, all applicants applying to Symphony Apartments (regardless of MFTE or Market rate status) will be subject to property management's screening criteria.
